Terms & Conditions
These terms cover your use of Did You See It ("the Service", "we", "us"). The Service watches the email inboxes you connect for emails that match rules you set, and sends you a text message when one arrives. It is currently in an invite-only pilot, offered in the United States and Canada only.
SMS Terms
By accepting our SMS Terms and Consent in the app, you agree to receive automated, recurring text messages from Did You See It at the mobile number you verified when you signed in. These messages are:
- Match alerts: one text each time an email in a connected inbox matches one of your rules. Each alert includes the label of the rule that matched.
- Service messages: texts about your account, such as a broken inbox connection, a paused rule, or usage warnings.
Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. It depends on how many of your emails match your rules and on the state of your account.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
Opting out and getting help
- Reply STOP to any alert or service message to stop receiving them. We will send one message confirming that you have opted out.
- Reply HELP for help, or email us at dangesshel@gmail.com.
- To start receiving messages again after opting out, reply START from your phone.
Sign-in codes are separate
Sign-in verification codes are sent through a separate service, only when you request one, so that you can sign in. They are not covered by this consent. Replying STOP to an alert or service message does not stop sign-in codes, and replying STOP to a sign-in code does not stop alerts.
Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Your mobile number
We use your mobile number to operate the Service. We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to receive texts, with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Not for health information
The Service is not designed or operated to meet the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) or similar health-privacy laws. We do not enter into Business Associate Agreements. Do not connect an inbox, or create a rule, for the purpose of handling protected health information that you or your organization are required to safeguard. Alert texts are ordinary SMS messages: anyone who can see your phone's messages may be able to see a rule's label.
Not an emergency service
The Service is not an emergency, safety, or monitoring service. Do not rely on it to learn about anything urgent or safety-critical. In an emergency, call 911.
An alert depends on your email provider, on our systems, on our text-message provider, and on your mobile carrier. Any of these can fail, slow down, or be interrupted. Texts can be delayed, arrive out of order, or not arrive at all. Your phone's Do Not Disturb and notification settings decide whether a text makes a sound, and we can't override them.
AI matching
We use an AI model, provided by Anthropic, to understand the rules you type and to check your email against rules about a person or a topic. AI can make mistakes: it may miss an email you wanted to hear about, or occasionally text you about one that is not a real match. The AI only decides whether an email matches a rule you created. It does not make decisions about you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will ask you to review and accept the new version in the app.
