How users opt in to text alerts
Users opt in inside the Did You See It mobile app, during sign-up. The sign-up form sits behind phone verification, so it has no public web address. These are mockups of the in-app screens, with the exact consent wording users accept. The app is in an invite-only pilot.
1. Verify your number
Enter your mobile number. We'll text you a code to sign in.
Enter the 6-digit code we sent.
Sign-in codes are sent only when you request one.
2. Accept the SMS consent
- By accepting, you agree to receive automated text messages from Did You See It at the phone number you verified: an alert each time an email matches one of your rules, and service messages about your account.
- Message frequency varies with how many of your emails match your rules.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any alert or service message to stop them. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. Sign-in codes are sent only when you request one, and are not covered by this consent.
Nothing is pre-selected: no alert can be sent until you tap "I agree". SMS Terms · Privacy Policy
3. After you agree
We'll text you at the number you verified each time an email matches one of your rules.
Reply STOP to any alert to stop them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Your acceptance is recorded with the date, the version of the terms, and your number.
What happens next
Texts go only to the number the user verified. Each alert names the rule that matched, for example: "Did You See It: New email from landlord@example.com". Users can reply STOP at any time, and START to resume. Questions: dangesshel@gmail.com.
